Spent 4 nights here as we toured local sites such as Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods, Four Corners, Moki Dugway and a few other areas in between. Not a lot of motels in the area. I picked it due to the price and having both a fridge and microwave as some of the others in the same price range didn't. It was perfectly relaxing. Beautiful scenery to look out at from our room. Kerig coffee maker, great pressure for the shower and clean rooms. Had a balcony that you could sit on and listen to the San Juan River. If you like you can take a short hike down to the river. Great pool and hot tub too. Will come back to this one if ever in the area again and I've already told others about this.
Don't panic when you see it. Yes, it does look questionable when you first drive up. But the check in was easy, you get an actual key to the room, and the rooms on the inside are really nice. Clean, simple, fresh rooms; I want to say it was remodeled recently. The usual toiletries (lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner) are in dispensers which was pretty cool. Fully stocked towels, a fridge, a microwave, tv, couch and table. And the view is great and super relaxing. There's a little picnic area in the back where you can listen to the water go by. Early morning checkout consists of dropping the key in a box outside the office.
If you visit Monument Valley, probably you could consider stay here rather than pay a much higher price to stay in the valley without really experiencing the most exciting part of the valley!
The pool and the hot tub are in the back and they are open 24 hrs. Very cool thing to jump into the hot tub after arriving near 11 pm. Being behind schedule they called us giving directions in how to get into our room. Nice view of the San Juan poolside.
It looks meh on the outside but the ROOMS ARE EXCELLENT. Very modern furniture, good wifi for the remote area you are in, clean room! Would definitely recommend to anyone!!
